Radians' Maximus 29 Electronic earmuff has four independent high frequency directional microphones to provide accurate directional pinpointing of sounds and the ultimate hearing protection. Not only can you protect your hearing while shooting, you can still hear range commands and normal conversation without having to expose your hearing to harmful muzzle blasts. With a NRR of 29 dB, Maximus also automatically compresses harmful impulse and continuous noises to a safe hearing range below 85dB without clipping or cutting. Electronic hearing protectors use microphones to enhance the surrounding sounds, while the compression technology captures unsafe sounds and reduces them to a safer level. Maximus has foam-filled ear cushions, independent volume controls, an adjustable, moisture-wicking headband that moves moisture away, and a compact folding design for easy storage. This model has two easy-access external battery compartments hold 3 AAA batteries for long lasting use (approximately 280 hours). Batteries are included.
